FACING THE GIANTS IN YOUR LIFE
I am at a time in my life where I am surrounded by GIANTS, pressing in all directions.
Nothing, no one person can have the answers and fixes I need, right now.
It appears while I am crying out to the Lord, the Heavens are shut up.
Until now.
I had a vision of David, facing Goliath. Lord, what does that mean for me?
I felt impressed by the Holy Spirit, the following:
- David in his youth, (youngest of his family) and small stature, simply said yes to the assignment
- He was offered armor, helmet, sword, and he refused! Too heavy, and cumbersome
- He chose the slingshot, and stones
- David was a man after GODS heart, despite his ‘spots and wrinkles’ because he worshipped his GOD, unabashedly and boldly.
Insights:
-There were many things that needed to happen in just the precise way to orchestrate the demise of this Philistine Giant
-The direction and speed of the rock had to me just so! Scripture says they were small stones. But it was one ‘rock ‘ that did it, not multiple.
-Holy Spirit impressed me that HE the Holy One was the Rock, and He was weighty in His presence and stature. Everything in those ‘Rocks’ were all that was needed. David did not know that. He just ‘believed’, and I believe the Holy Spirit was guiding his steps. ‘Psalm 37:23 Amp
23 The steps of a [good] man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step].”
-In addition, the Angel of the Lord, Jesus, would carry that ‘Rock’ at the precise velocity and speed needed, and in exact direction to land on the spot of the giant’s forehead to do the damage needed to slay that GIANT. It did happen!
GOD was GIVEN THE GLORY!
-Then at the end David was enabled to lift the giant’s sword to cut his head off.
Perfect Vengeance!
Personal Application:
Holy Spirit went on further to share with me, that we are at a time and season that the enormity of situations would not be taken care of with intellectual decisions and strategies of man.
This is supported by Scripture:
Zechariah 4:6
Amplified Bible
“6 Then he said to me, “This [continuous supply of oil] is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel [prince of Judah], saying, ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of whom the oil is a symbol],’ says the Lord of hosts.”
Furthermore, Isaiah 10:27”
And this shall happen on that day, he will remove his burden from your shoulder and his yoke from your neck, and a yoke will be destroyed because of fat. TLB.
Where do find this BREAKER (Jesus) , and the OIL, in HIS PRESENCE!
This is what GOD showed me, that the ANOINITNG (FAT/OIL) Breaks the yoke, but HIS PRESENCE BRINGS THE POWER. This combo brings Breaker ANOINTING), and Deliverance.
We cannot trust in Chariots and Horses, any longer!
David was equipped from the ‘git go’!
Jesus was with Him in the guise of the GOD HEAD, complete. He was fully prepared with his heart filled with oil and His presence.
BOOM!
Often, we make things harder than they are. I believe that we are at the junction in history where GOD wants to do this for us, in all things. Defies all logic and understanding. But isn’t that what GOD has been trying to tell us a for a long time?
Why don’t we take the WORDS in the Bible to heart? They are not just stories.
He showed me that my weapon was the slingshot, PRAISE, WORSHIP and THANKSGIVING. The ROCKS were HIM, and Jesus and Holy SPIRIT were going to orchestrate Deliverance in ALL the areas I need.
My part was to stay OILED and GIVE PRAISE AND THANKS IN ALL WAYS.
Nothing I was doing was working, anyways! Too many things simultaneously.
I will. I can also expect results!! I got the memo.
This does not mean that GOD can give strategies. However, we must not move without direction!! At that point we take it out of God’s hands and take it upon ourselves. He wants all the Glory!
For many of us how He works it out will be a demonstration and witness to others. I actually had a good friend say to me, ‘I am watching to see how GOD works all of this out, in your life’. It is such a catastrophic, and multiple mess!!!
Isaiah 12:2
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid; for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; He also has become my salvation.” Amp.
In Isaiah 12:2, the word "salvation" is translated from the Hebrew word Yeshu'ah (Strong's #3444), which literally means something saved, deliverance, aid, victory, or prosperity. This verse is unique because it is the only one in the Old Testament where this root word, which shares the same meaning as the name Jesus (Yeshua), appears twice
Believe and rest in the simplicity of resolution of ALL of your difficult issues, that comes with these words.
"In quietness and confidence shall be your strength" is a profound biblical passage from Isaiah 30:15 (KJV),
In some translations the word salvation is referenced as deliverance.
For me that is all I am capable of currently, with all swirling around me.
SO simple and thankful I am for this revelation. I am worn out, weary and tired.
All motion ceases today…. Ty Jesus. I am expecting!!! To GOD be the GLORY!
Many say that Jesus is not in the Old Testament. But that would be impossible as I said, the GOD Head is a TRIUNE GOD, ALWAYS AND FOREVER!
