Dream: Warning To The Church
Last week I had a very vivid dream that woke me with a start. I cannot remember where I was exactly. I was watching the following scenario take place before me. I observed a fairly large group of Christians that were engaged what looked like very animated conversation. I heard in my spirit the words “biting and devouring each other”. This scenario seemed to go on for quite a long time. It also appeared that none of the people in the group were aware of what was going on around them, they were so engrossed in all of this “ strife”.
All of a sudden a great Armada began to surround them. I had the immediate sense that those surrounding them were enemies. The Armada continued to get very very close, putting themselves in what looked like a strategic position around them . Still the group of people ( Christians) , seemed oblivious to all of this activity. Suddenly large guns came out of the Armada, and begin to fire on the group. EVERYONE in the group perished.
I inquired of the Lord , what was this was all about? I sensed the Lord was telling me ,"My people are so busy arguing , gossiping , judging and competing with each other.They are so so engrossed in these activities, they are unaware that the enemy is mounting and attack against them.
I sensed that the Lord wanted me to publish this as a warning, that those involved would repent,and cease and desist, with these destructive and divisive behaviors. We all need to focus on :
Philippians 4:8.
8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things" NIV
There's a lot of focus these days on corporate revival however, revival starts on an individual level. We need to clean up our own acts, and swiftly for many will fall if they continue in this fashion. Not literal death, but spiritual death.
