WONDER WOMEN!
Yesterday I went to see Wonder Woman at the theater. It started out with the history of Wonder Woman and most was Greek Mythology.
I had heard from many that had seen it, that is had many biblical overtones. I saw some, but not enough to understand why I was here watching this particular movie.
Lord I said under me breathe, why am I here? What do you want me to see in this? It was not long after that question, the Lord began to download to me.
Years ago, when I was on the Area Team for Women’s Aglow International, in San Diego, Ca., we had heard from our leader, Jane Hansen Hoyt, that God has spoken to her and said that HE was giving women the ‘cord to unravel Islam’. This was a mandate from God to women, particularly Aglow. I never heard much about it later on. The ‘cord’, was love. That us women would minister and love on, pray for, Islamic Women and that they in turn would use this love, His love, and intercession to pray for the men in this religion. This would eventually turn the tide for Islam to bow to Jesus. Males are very dominant in this religion. Persecution for women, very high.
Back to yesterday’s movie! Without telling the whole movie plot, Diana was called as a young child to ultimately destroy the force of evil, Aries, that was the cause of war and evil. Their God Zeus, had created both, good and evil. Diana did not know until almost the end of the movie that she herself was the ‘weapon of mass destruction, going to be used herself to destroy this evil man / god himself, Aries.
This Aries saw man as inherently evil and was on a mission to destroy all men. Sound familiar. The legend continued that once this evil god was destroyed all war would instantly stop. Long story short, she ventured forth against her mother the queen’s advice, but had her blessing, on a quest to find this Aries and stop war. She had discerned along the way, that LOVE was the force to do it. She was a woman of incredible strength and wisdom, but she did not know the complete force of her power until actually she came face to face with Aries, whom everyone had thought had been already eliminated. Kind of like young David. I find it interesting that she had accidentally discovered when she put her arms together in a shape of a cross is when the power within her, came forth as lightening. The cross does get the last word, thank you Jesus! She then learned about the power of ‘the cross’ and used it!
This Aries appeared in the guise of one of the ‘good guys’, and was hidden to many. He was actually giving orders to people who trusted him, he was a world leader, that was eventually going to be used to destroy the whole world.
This is what the LORD spoke to me. “Arise oh women of God, even when you think you have had not much impact, and the conditions of the world appear bleak, and stormy. I am making you the storm. I have cloaked you for many years, and now I am bringing you to the forefront. I am making you weapons of mass destruction with My love and intercession. I will be giving you strategic prayers and direction to unravel not just the cord of Islam, but evil itself. But even so I have had you planted in places that look like impossible conditions you wonder and say, ‘Why Lord?”. I have made you all like stealth fighters and even the enemy Himself has not seen you, because you had the legal right to be in these tough places. I am with you in all of this, fear not! My protection is with you . Even when you think you are powerless, when the time comes, you will rise to the occasion. I am making you all evil annihilators.
It is my power that will arise in you, and surprise you, when you need it. You have all of Heavens resources at your bidding. Be ready, prepare, be instant in and out of season, be wary, and discerning of your situations, seasons, storms and whirlwinds. I am in all of this. Tap into my presence and anointing, it is not on you, it is ALL me, through the power of my Holy Spirit. Now is the time, ‘for such a time as this ‘I have brought you to this place. I have given you all authority to trample on snakes and scorpions in My Name. Arise of wonder women of GOD, your time has come!!! “
Wonder women of the world, it is our time, and God is leading the battle with the power of the cross!!!!
