One of my most favorite passages in scripture is Psalm 103:1-5, below.
Bless and affectionately praise the Lord, O my soul,
And all that is [deep] within me, bless His holy name.
Bless and affectionately praise the Lord, O my soul,
And do not forget any of His benefits;
Who forgives all your sins,
Who heals all your diseases;
Who redeems your life from the pit,
Who crowns you [lavishly] with lovingkindness and tender mercy;
Who satisfies your years with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the [soaring] eagle.

In the NIV it says He fills our mouth with good things so that our youth can be renewed like the Eagles.
As I was meditating on these awesome promises, I heard GOD say I am restoring health and youth, like the eagles, to many, especially My older generals. Many have felt that have felt they have no more to give, or are too old, infirmed and weak to proceed. I sensed as they praised and blessed their heavenly Father, these verses would be activated in their lives. To spite what they thought about themselves, and their present conditions, finances or health, there were rich untapped deposits in these people, ready to come forth in full volume, for such a time as this.
I was lead to research some information on Eagles. I had heard that at a certain age the Eagle will fly up to a high mountain, pluck out its feathers, pound its beak on a rock till it comes off, and remove its talons. Then the Eagle will stay there 5 months waiting for new growth of feathers, talons and a new beak. It is not reasonable to think an Eagle can live without food for 5 months, or be left vulnerable to the elements and predators, without feathers, talons and a beak.
I further read that this was NOT indeed fact, although there have been reports of Eagles being seen beating their beaks on rocks. Maybe to sharpen them? The lifespan of an Eagle is traditionally about 30 years, on rare occasion 70 years. One can only speculate, however what I find interesting is the verse 5 of this Psalm, God says, “So that your youth is restored like the Eagle”. Is God telling us something about this majestic bird, that many believe is folklore? He chose the Eagle to compare our youth to! What God IS saying here; it is something HE can do, and wants to do, and is doing. Bless HIM, believe, declare and embrace whatever the process is. We serve a nonconforming, supernatural out of the box, and extravagant God. The bible further says, nothing is impossible with God”! Luke 1:37. In fact this is stated in at least two other places in the bible.
I am praying and declaring these things over myself, and my family.
I love what the Amplified says, like a ‘soaring Eagle”, v5.
I believe He wants to take us to new heights in Him, even when we feel it’s all over, or it’s too impossible. Dare we believe? The bible is all about faith, and embracing hope, healing, restoration, redemption, change and possibilities. While we are waiting to be restored, He is there to feed us with His manna, and cover us with His feathers, for protection. His sword is there for us, sharpened and ready to do, instead of a beak!
Jesus defied death, and is still doing so today in some individuals lives. Is there anything too big for our GOD? The gifting’s and callings of God are without repentance. Romans 11:29. We were put here with a destiny, and I believe that until that is accomplished, it is not over for us, no matter what the situation.
We need to bloom where we are planted.
In my book, Prophetic Mediations on Esther, Kingdom Keys to Save our Nation, there is a Chapter called,’ Being a stealth for God”. A stealth fighter is a military war machine that flies incognito. Sometimes God has us in certain places, or allows some things in our lives to give us the ‘legal right ‘to be there, hidden to others, His true purposes.
For me it was a car accident, and me going to a Chiropractor, which I would have never done without cause! There were three miracles and Divine appointments for me there, I would have missed. He gave me the grace to embrace the pain for the greater good, and then healed me after, to the amazement of the Chiropractor. He acknowledged his treatment had nothing to do with it! We can bloom where ever we are planted, and there is grace for what got us there, ready to step into.
We are in a Kairos time now! Things are coming together for the last scenes in this worlds history. He is calling for us all to open the eyes of our revelation to see and hear our marching orders. He wants to give us Divine Wellness for the call. Let us focus our eyes on His power, majesty, and Holiness, regardless what is in the natural, and I believe He will meet us at our point of hope and faith in Him.
Be it a hoax or a fact, we as humans have a lot of things to learn from the Eagles flight. We need to be in a process of constant change and adaptation in order to succeed in life. The Christians journey is all about change. He is right here beside our side to make it happen, with His grace and Resurrection Power.
Father, open our eyes to see as the Eagles, (they can see even with their lids closed). Even when we are in darkness and it looks like little hope, open the eyes of our revelation to see as You do, see ourselves the way you see us, and let us hear Your heart on the matter. Increase our faith to the highest levels, and enlarge the place of our tent to embrace the miraculous in our lives. Onward and upward, in Jesus Name, Amen.
